Inception is a heist film with all of the nail biting moments you might expect, but it is more than that. In this heist film, time and space are variables. Put simply, Inception is a movie for thinkers and in my opinion it is one of the best sci fi thrillers of the past 10 years.
Don't let the "Sci Fi" label fool you because it was merely a means to tell the story. I was excited and amazed that a Sci Fi movie in 2010 had absolutely no mention of technology or computers or the internet, especially one that was about creating virtual dream worlds. You know why? because it was not important to the story. You were given just enough information about how they build the dreamworlds that (at least I found myself saying) "Yeah that seams plausible."
The acting was solid, the writing was well structured and the visuals were simply amazing. If you have not already, check it out.
Inception Was directed by Christopher Nolan (Dark Knight, the Prestige, Memento) and Stars Michael Caine, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock from the Sun), Ellen Page (Juno), Tom Hardy (Picard Clone in Star Trek Nemisis), and Marion Cotillard.
